Melton Fellow “Hangs Out” with Al Gore for 24 Hours of Reality
On October 21, Melton Fellow Karla Palma, a member of the Melton Foundation Board of Directors participated in a Google+ Hang Out with former US Vice President Al Gore to discuss the myths and challenges of climate change.
Watch the video of the hangout to see the breadth and depth of the questions around one of the most serious challenges of our time. The hangout, hosted by the Climate Reality Project is a run-up to the 24 Hours of Reality online event, which is being billed as the largest-ever global conversation on the cost of carbon. www.24hoursofreality.org
For 24 hours on October 22-23, 2013, people all over the world will be having conversations in their communities – and across the planet to talk about carbon pollution, what they are doing to stop it – and what you can do too!
Melton Fellows at Temuco (Chile), Hangzhou (China), Bangalore (India) and Jena (Germany) are organizing public conversations as part of the Climate Reality Project Team. Check out the schedule here to plan your day accordingly.
