100 Acts of Global Citizenship

100 Acts

100 Acts is our bold, innovative program that allows you to design and do small, achievable and tangible acts of Global Citizenship - in your workplace, neighborhood or anywhere you choose!

Our 100 Acts program gives people – like you – an intensive overview of a global issue along with a pathway to solving it and the framework for you to map your action on that issue. All in three days. When you return to your home, job, or community, you’ll be changed and you’ll inspire change.

100 Acts was launched at the 2014 GCC in New Orleans. Check out the #100Acts here and read on to find out what's ahead in 2015.

Days 1 - 3: Sep 18 - 20, 2015 in Hangzhou, China

Meet other young global citizens from Chile, China, Germany, Ghana, India, and the USA.

  • Explore Design Thinking methods and tools to tackle global challenges locally
  • Hear from and meet changemakers from around the world an our Springboard Sessions.
  • Work in small groups to learn more about a specific global challenge 1st hand from experts during Issue Workshops, and access strategies to solve it.
  • Brainstorm ideas with your group on the kinds of actions that each of you can take – simple, powerful actions to address that global challenge, or any other issue in your community.
  • With our help, you create a map for executing your action, making it concrete, specific and actionable.

Days 4 – 100: Sep 21 – Dec 29, 2015 ... wherever you are in the world

  • Do your Act of Global Citizenship any time before December 29, 2015.
  • Send us an update on it.
  • Tell your family, friends, colleagues, classmates, kids!
