Who's Who At Our Global Citizenship Conference

Melton Fellows

The primary audience at our Global Citzenship Conference (GCC) is Melton Fellows – young people (age 20 – 45) who are students or alumni from our partner universities in Chile, China, Germany, India and the United States. Our Fellows are diverse in socio-economic background, race, ethnicity, religion, and political viewpoint. Some are in college while others are far along in their careers. But they all share a common grounding in what it means to be a global citizen – to be aware of global issues and their local implications (and vice versa); to take responsibility for these issues; and to act in ways that reflect this responsibility and awareness.
Plus, our Fellows are curious and critical thinkers, interested in learning and… fun to be with!

Delegates

We invite 10 young “Delegates” working in diverse fields, especially in businesses and corporations, who are interested in being global citizens to join us for the 100 Acts portion of the GCC. Companies who work in the global business arena and are interested in forging win-win solutions can sponsor delegates for the 100 Acts program.

If you work at a company that may be interested in sponsoring you, contact Micah Trippe for details. The registration for 100 Acts is now open!

Springboard Speakers & Workshop Facilitators

Guess who you learn from? A stellar group of representatives of organizations who are tackling some of today's most challenging issues lead our workshops and speak at our Springboard Sessions. The who's who of this group is coming soon!

The Public!

Our Springboard Sessions are open to the public. We invite students from other universities, members from local NGO, policy, academic, and business communities, as well as anyone interested in engaging in global citizenship to join us!
