100 Acts

In 2014, we’re launching 100 Acts of Global Citizenship. The result? Infinite possibilities.

100 Acts is our bold new program so you can design and do small, achievable and tangible acts of Global Citizenship - in your workplace, neighborhood or anywhere you choose!

Our 100 Acts program gives people – like you – an intensive overview of a global issue along with a pathway to solving it and the framework for you to map your action on that issue. All in three days. When you return to your home, job, or community, you’ll be changed and you’ll inspire change.

More importantly, you will do an act of global citizenship… and be in the running for an award at our 2015 Global Citizenship Conference in China.

Days 1 and 2: Oct 3 - 4, 2014

  • You meet other young global citizens from Chile, China, Germany, India, and the USA.
  • Hear from and meet some of today’s change-makers, like  Emily May of Hollaback working to solve a global challenge.
  • Work intensively with a group of 20 people from these five countries, learn more about a specific global challenge from the change-makers, and access strategies to solve it.

Day 3: Oct 5, 2014

  • Brainstorm ideas with your group on the kinds of actions that each of you can take – simple, powerful actions to address that global challenge, or any other issue in your community.
  • With our help, you create a map for executing your action, making it concrete, specific and well… actionable.

Days 4 – 82: Oct 6 – Dec 31, 2014

  • You do your Act of Global Citizenship any time before December 31, 2014.
  • Send us an update on it.
  • Tell your family, friends, colleagues, kids!
